With heavy hearts the family of Baptiste Newborn of Edmonton, AB announces his passing on February 25, 2017 at the age of 72 years.

Baptiste is survived by his common-in-law wife, Lena McInory, brothers: Mose, Eugene, John Sr., Terry (Kim), Joe (Charlotte); sisters: Shirley, Brenda (Ronnie), Jeannette; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his Dad, Ben Newborn; birth Mother, Clara Newborn; Mother, Mamasis Eleanor Newborn; one brother, Angus; sisters: Caroline, Pauline, Mary & Rose; grandparents: Jean Baptiste, Philomene Newborn, Jean Baptiste & Marie Thomas; as well as many other relatives.

A Wake will be held Thursday, March 2nd, 2017 4:00 p.m. with A Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 3rd, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. all at the Alexander Community Centre, Alexander, Alberta with Reverend Les Kwiatlowski OMI the celebrant, interment in Alexander Cemetery.
