On January 25th, 2016  Betty Sorensen of St Albert passed away after a three year battle with cancer at the age of  84 years.

Betty is survived by her loving husband, Robert; daughters: Laurie, Carrie (Murray) Blennerhassey of BC and Marina (Craig) of Australia; six granddaughters; two grandsons; step-daughters: Sheren (Terry) and Leslie; step-son, Brian; six great grandchildren; brothers: Keith (Nina) and Don; special friends: Mary Anne Sosa and Mel Angeles.  Betty had a great zest for life, she was a director of Christian Renewal Fellowship and Catholic Renewal Centre. She retired from Canadian Utilities.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St Albert Catholic Church, 7 St. Vital Avenue, St Albert, Alberta on Monday February 01 2016 at 10:30 AM, with Rev. Ignacy Warias, OMI the celebrant.
