David Armstrong

God called Dave to his heavenly home on November 6, 2019, at the age 67.  Dave is survived by his loving wife, Karen, of 46 years; his children: Tim (Kim), Coralee (Ron), Sarah (Kevin); seven loving grandkids: Addison, Alexandra, Ayden, Allyse, Kali, Dava, Cadence;  one sister, Leona; one sister-in-law, Betty, mother-in-law, Agnes, one brother-in-law, David (Dawn), nephews,  niece, other relatives and many friends.   He was predeceased by his father, Robert Armstrong; stepfather, John Jacobson; mother, Rose Ellen Jacobson; father-in-law, Norman Falk; brother, Edward Armstrong, and brother-in-law, Dexter Van Deelen.

Dave’s love of family, farming and his community motivated him.  He passionately pursued putting the needs of others ahead of his own.  He was known for his hearty laugh, fun-loving spirit, and unlimited generosity.  He will be missed by those who knew him.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at the Barrhead Alliance Church, 5309-43 St. Barrhead, AB on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Trevor Crowe officiating.
