Doris Edna Calliou

It is with saddened hearts that the family of Doris Edna Calliou announce her passing on August 14, 2024 at the age of 83 years. 

Doris is lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, John Calliou; children: Cassie Calliou, Holly Calliou (Kelly), Madelaine Calliou (Daniel), Craig Cardinal (Phyllis), Henry Cardinal (Celia), and the Late Wendy Calliou; grandchildren: Sedrick Duffey~Calliou, Wendi Arntson (Chris), Xan Ecker (Amber), Jazzlynn Courteoreille, Lance Courteoreille, Patrick Calliou (Kyla), Danielle Irwin, and Jonathan Irwin; great-grandchildren: Brooke Duffey, Elizabeth Arntson, Linken Arntson, and Tarlo Ecker; siblings: Rupert Arcand (Linda), Adele Arcand, Gloria Makokis (Bernie), and Susan Menage.

She is predeceased by her parents, Phillip and Christine Arcand; Frank and Jean Loyer; as well as siblings: George, Richard, Eddie, Syliva, Martin, Phyllis, Millie, and Reg.

A Wake is to take place on Monday, August 19th, 2024 at 4:00pm at Alexander Community Centre in Alexander, Alberta. 

A Funeral Service will be taking place on Tuesday, August 20th, 2024 at 11:00am at Alexander Community Centre in Alexander, Alberta.

Cremation to follow in Athabasca, Alberta. Burial to take place at a later date.
