With loving remembrance and heavy hearts, the family of Mrs. Beth Letts of Westlock, AB announces her sudden passing on November 27, 2025, at 89 years of age.
Beth was born to Albert “Bert” and Christina Lyons on May 23, 1936, the youngest of four children. She later married the neighbour boy and love of her life, Park Letts, on August 3, 1956. With the guidance of their Lord and Saviour, they built a beautiful life together and were grateful for their three children: Laura, Scott and Paul.
Beth loved people deeply and carried a genuine interest in everyone she met. Her affection and compassion for family, friends, and neighbours were steadfast and unending. Farming was her lifelong passion, matched only by the joy her many cats brought her. Her days were spent outdoors, where she could be found faithfully tending to her chores, until the day of her unexpected fall. Her kind, gentle, and sincerely caring spirit was evident in all she did. She will be greatly missed.
She is reunited with those who went before her: her dearest daughter, Laura; her parents, Bert and Christina Lyons; her sister, Margaret (first husband Bud, second husband Harold); her brothers Mac (Jean) and Albert (Dorothy); in-laws, Nelson and Agnes Letts; Jim (Caroline).
Beth is survived by her devoted husband, Park; her much loved children, Scott (Wendy) and Paul (Sharon); her cherished grandchildren, Graham (Emily), Katelyn (Caleb), Spencer, Mariah, Bryan (Elli), Park, Rebecca, Dorothy, Ian (Avry), and Nelson; her precious great-grandchildren, Clara, Colton, Caleb, Beth-Anne; Ginny, Milo, and Goldie; and Blake. She is also survived by in-laws, Alex (Peggy), as well as many special nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends and neighbours.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Westlock Memorial Hall, 99 Ave. -106 St., Westlock, AB.
In honor of Beth and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Charity of Choice.
