Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden loss of our beloved Dad, Eugene Erb.
Eugene is survived by his loving son Ron (Laverne), daughter Karin (Greg) Greke. Grandchildren Dalton and Kayci. Sisters Eileen and Margaret as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Eugene was born on May 30, 1937 in High River, Alberta to Fred and Ida Erb, the youngest of 7 siblings. Eugene worked for several years at the Western Canadian Fertilizer Plant and was one of the last employees remaining until they closed their doors in the mid 1980’s. He then moved to Fruitvale, B.C. and it was there that he married his wife Maureen, in 1991. In 2003 Eugene and Maureen moved back to Alberta, making Barrhead their home.
Eugene was predeceased by his wife Maureen, parents Fred and Ida; brothers Dick, Edward, Howard; sister Evelyn and sons Thomas and Gordon.
A special thank you to the caring and attentive staff at Dr. W.R Keir Barrhead Continuing Care Center for taking exceptional care of our Dad over the last couple of years.
