ARCAND,  Florence Ida

     On June 29th, 2016, Florence Ida Arcand of Alexander First Nation, passed away at the age of 85 years.

Ida is survived by six daughters: Violet, Marilyn, (Wayne), Pauline (Leon), Matilda (Leslie), Monica, Wanda (Victor Jr.) and grandson she raised: George H. Arcand; adopted son: Joe Paytakan; one sister, Rita Lafleche; nieces:  Joyce,  Denise,  Joannie,  Bonnie, Myrna,  Carolyn; nephews: Kurt,  Peter  and Joe;  as  well  as numerous grandchildren, chapans, and great-great chapanuk, and numerous relatives, and friends. She was predeceased  by  her  husband,  George J.  Arcand;  three  sons: Romeo, Edward, and Dwayne; three daughters: Judith, Theresa, and Elsie: Father, Victor Auigbelle and one brother, Peter Auigbelle.  

Special THANK YOU to all the people she had Nick Names with and teased and laughed with her. The family is grateful for the laughter you shared with our Mom. We apologize if we missed anyone, it is not intentional. 

A Funeral Service will be held at Kipohtakaw School, Alexander, Alberta  on Monday, July 4th, 2016 at 10:00 AM, with interment to follow in the Alexander First Nation Cemetery.
