Francis Joseph (Poncho) Arcand

Poncho is survived by his children: Clint Arcand, Marsha (Kurt), Jennell (Dave), Troy (Deb), Fern (Gordy) and Diamond (Peggy) Arcand; grandchildren: Tashina, Giselle, Regan, Tanita, Breighanna, Tristen, Terron, Carter, Tyra, Dan , Kloey, Addison and Danica; great grandchildren: Alayah, Memphis, Tayis, Suraya, Amerie, Sophie, Thomas, Odell, Brielle, Tenoa, Kyrie and Easton; two sisters: Hazel Arcand and Edna (Ed) Arcand; six brothers: Ron (Roselyn) , Larry (Belinda), John (Diane),Kenny, Louis and Arthur; Special Friend, Shirley (Mother of his Children); Uncle Louis and Aunty Jackie; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Fred (Jackie); one grandson, Jimmy Lee Arcand; two brothers: Gilbert and Eddy; three sisters: Sharon, Judy and Cheryl; four nieces and two nephews.

A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. at St. Alexander Mission Church, Alexander, AB. At. 2:30 P.M. the casket will be placed in Poncho’s truck and a final ride to his home, through his community of Alexander and then to the Cemetery.

Interment will follow at the Alexander Cemetery.

With Covid19 guidelines, only 10 people are allowed in the church at a time. The viewing is to pay your final respect to Poncho and the family. The Family will remain in their vehicles during this viewing time. There will be instructions as to the entrance and exit from the church and no gatherings outside of the church, please.  After viewing each person is encouraged to return to their vehicle. 

For family & close friends remaining for the burial, you are asked to stay in your vehicles and please ensure the social distancing guidelines are followed during the burial service.

 Security will be in attendance for any needed assistance. Wearing a MASK is mandatory.
