After a courageous battle with cancer, Gary passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side.
He leaves to mourn his loving partner Yvonne, son Kelly (Carrisa), daughter Amanda (Marius). His 3 grandchildren, Wyatt, Caleb and Elyse. Stepchildren Jeanette (Dave), Shawn, Caitlin, Matthew (Lauren) and Zoey. Two sisters Vivian (Bill), and Wanda. One brother Bruce (Lorriane). As well as many other relatives and friends.
Gary was predeceased by his second wife Julie, his parents, two brothers, one sister, and numerous other relatives.
Gary spent most of his life farming, worked on the rigs, and had mechanical aptitude. He could help fix almost anything. He was a good friend to many, always willing to lend a hand. Gary loved sports, Oilers and Blue Jays were his favorites. He enjoyed visiting his grandchildren, music, dancing and road trips.
Thank you to Dr. Mydeen, staff at the Westlock Healthcare Center for their compassionate care and support.
As per Gary’s wishes there will be no service. Cremation has taken place.
Donations in remembrance of Gary can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
