Obituary
With heavy hearts the family of Mr. George Greig of Westlock, AB announces his peaceful passing in Westlock, AB, surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday February 17, 2022, at the age of 86 years.
George is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marie; daughters: Valerie, Penny (Lee), Lerena; son, Kevin (Barbara); nine grandchildren: Greg (Kelsey), Deanna (Julie), Kristy (Bryce), Tristan (Sarah) and Khloe; thirteen great grandchildren as well numerous other relatives and friends.
George was a proud community builder and promoter of Westlock and area for over 65 years. George and Marie founded Greig Printing & Stationery Ltd. In 1965 and belonged to many clubs, boards and associations.
He enjoyed travel, reading, politics, playing cards, singing and spending time with his family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. in the Westlock Royal Canadian Legion, 10004-106 St., Westlock, AB.
Anyone who so wishes may make a memorial donation directly to your favorite charity.
