It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Tanghe, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  On October 18, 2017, she died after a brave struggle with cancer. She is lovingly remembered by Fred Tanghe, her husband of 71 years; children: Ruth  (Garry), Carol  (Allan), Lyle  (Christine), Leona , and Lori  (Randy); grandchildren: Dana (Gil), Galen (Brandi), Jeff (Lindsay), Lisa, Sheri (Jason), Kirsten, Ryan, Denni, Devyn, Brant (Stacey), Scott (Jessica); great grandchildren: Brynn, Jaxon, Kayla, Skylar, Makenna, Samantha, Jace, Cruz, Sofia, Scarlett, Wyatt; two brothers: Ernest (Marilyn), Keith (Judy); one sister, Francis (Joe); as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Irene was predeceased by her Mom, Cora; one brother, Lawrence; and one sister, Gail.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. in the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 10004-106 St.,Westlock, AB.
