It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joseph (Fred) Alfred Laframboise announce his passing on September 19, 2025 at the age of 76 years.
Fred is survived by his daughters, Lorraine (Brian) & Darlene (Mike); his loving wife Nancy (30 years); and stepdaughter, Barb (Wade). His brothers: Walter, Bruce & Wayne; and sisters: Muriel, Charlotte & Thelma (Russel) and Auntie Pauline.
He raised Colleen Callihoo & Jordan Laframboise, and niece Mae-leigh considered him her other Moshum.
Fred's grandchildren: Kyle, Jordan & Abigail, Cassius, Tasha Jesse, Delcie, Rickie, Nikki, Shadoe, and Rocky; great-grandchildren: Kobe, Zack, Natalia, Ry-Ann, Tash, Chael, Kiera, Silas, Mya, and Tuan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Oliver & Maggie Laframboise; and four sisters: Beatrice Fuller, Theresa Morrison, Jackie (Doris) Forrest & Norma (Doreen) Hopkins; his uncles, Cyril Lefthand & Mike Laframboise; and aunts, Laura Shiller (Lefthand), Rosie Crate & Elizabeth Anderson; his niece, Gloria Louie & nephew, Kiett Callihoo; and grandson, Evan Szymanski.
A Wake will be taking place on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 4:00p.m.at Alexander Community Hall.
The Funeral Service will be taking place on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11:30a.m. at the Alexander Community Hall with Father Jim officiating. Interment to follow at Alexander Cemetery in Alexander, Alberta.
