It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen (Kay) Clarke Stefanik on June 23, 2026. Kay was kind, generous & thoughtful. Her greatest joy and happiness came from being with her family.
Kay was born in Montreal, Quebec on February 15, 1934 to George and Florence (Dafter) Clarke. She grew being the only girl with 3 younger brothers, whom she spoiled and pampered. Being bilingual, she was an asset to the companies she worked for as a receptionist. In 1974 she married Raymond Stefanik. In 1996 they moved to Mississauga, Ontario where they lived until the death of Raymond in September 2025. She then moved to Alberta to be closer to her brother.
Kay is no longer with us but she will always be remembered & missed by her brother Frederick (Doris), sister-in-laws Heather Clarke, Sandra Stefanik Stokoe, brother-in-laws Allan (Edith) Stefanik, Ken (Claudia) Stefanik as well as nieces, nephews and friends.
Kay was predeceased by her brothers George and William, sister-in-law Elizabeth, nephew Glenn Clarke and her parents George & Florence Clarke.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for Kay and Raymond at Lakeview Cemetery in Pointe-Claire, Quebec.
