Lein Rottier

Lein was born September 4th, 1924 in Holland, died peacefully on Good Friday
April 10th, 2020 in Westlock, AB in his 95th year having just celebrated 67 years of marriage with his loving wife Elisabeth who survives him.
 

Lein was a loving Father to: the Late Anneke (Vic, Patti), Joan (Ken), Chris (Sharon), Otto (Melanie), Marlene (Ron), Fred (Andrea), Jacqueline (Shaun); proud Opa of 38 (plus 26 grafted) grandchildren and delighted Over-Opa of 54 great-grandchildren.

Survived by brother Jack (Ineke); sister Janny; sisters-in-law: Gerda, Auke, Ann, JoAnn.
Predeceased by daughter Anneke; granddaughter Tirzah; brothers: Jan, Kees (Huigje), Marien (Janna), Jo; sisters: Cornelia (Jan), Leun (William), Laurien (Markus); brothers-in-law: Abel, Otto.

Lein will be missed by all his family and friends but we rejoice that God has guided his life with a deep growing faith and real purpose and now has taken him to his eternal home.

His family would like to thank you for your condolences and kindness in this very challenging season and in lieu of flowers and in light of the pandemic please plant some potatoes for you and your neighbor.

 A Celebration of Life Service is tentatively set for September 6, 2020 details will be announces as pandemic allows.
