It is with great sorrow that the family of Lorie Susan Clements of Edmonton announce her sudden passing following a brief illness on June 9, 2021 at the age of 67 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Adam (Gea), Elyse (Eddy), Travis (Billie), and grand-daughter Ella. Lorie is also survived by her siblings: Linda (Keith) and Barry (Judy) and their respective families. She was predeceased by her mother Sophie, father Harry and sister Carol.
Lorie’s career spanned many facets of the customer relations profession, an area for which her outgoing personality was particularly well-suited and included positions at Expo ’74, the ’78 Commonwealth Games, Kodak, Ikon and AB Legal Aid. Following her retirement, she volunteered for the Edmonton Humane Society and fostered numerous kittens until they were ready for their forever homes. Lorie was an avid reader and Oilers fan who also enjoyed staying in contact with family and friends via social media.
A Private Graveside Inurnment Service will be held at the St. Albert Municipal Cemetery, St. Albert, AB at 11:00 a.m. on June 30, 2021.
