OLIVE ISABEL (ANDERSON) BONERTZ

On August 20, 2016, Olive Bonertz passed away peacefully at Foyer Lacombe Hospice, in St. Albert, Alberta, at the age of 93 years.

Olive was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, neighbor and friend.  She was resourceful, creative, a good listener and a gifted seamstress as well as a dedicated watercolour painter.

She is survived by her sons:  Allan (Marg), Melvin and Raymond (Wendy) and six grandchildren: Jennifer (Doug) Keeling, Cameron (Kim) Bonertz, Lisa (Greg) McMorrow, Anita (Scott) Curran, Nathen Bonertz, and Jason (Jalena) Bonertz and 12 great grandchildren.

Olive was predeceased by her husband Wilmer Bonertz, her parents James and Bessie Anderson, her infant sister Irene Anderson, her daughter Lynne Schaub and son-in-law Denis Schaub.

A Memorial Service for the late Olive Bonertz will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Pincher Creek United Church (972 Police Avenue) with Rev. Pauline Bell officiating, followed by the inurnment at the Fairview Cemetery.
