Selma (Schendel) Unterieser

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Selma Unterieser on July 12, 2025 at the age of 93.

Selma is lovingly remembered by her daughter Linda (Alex) Schabert and her daughter in law Susanne Unterieser, her five grandchildren Sylvia (Desmond) Harte, Kristina (Clinton) Renfert, Kevin (Laine) Unterieser, David (Kimberly) Schabert and Jason (Kendra) Schabert, and 12 great grandchildren Audrey, Roslynn, Isabelle, Kaleb, Liam, Blake, Kruz, Alayna, Isaac, Marissa, Jocelyn and Declan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Germany and the USA.

Selma was predeceased by her husband Kurt, her son Klaus, her siblings and parents.

A funeral service will take place on July 21, 2025 at 10:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, Westlock, with Pastor Peter Yeung officiating.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff at Westlock Continuing Care Centre for their kindness, support and care shown to Selma during her time there.
