Shirley Anne (Astill) Fluet

 Shirley Anne Fluet (née Astill), 78, of Barrhead, AB, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025. Born on March 28, 1947, Shirley lived a life full of warmth and purpose, guided by her deep devotion to family, her strong faith, and her remarkable ability to connect with others.

Shirley is survived by her five children: Kevin (Beatrice) Bohn, Cheryl (Wayne) Kucharchuk, Marilyn (Darcy) Paquin, Allan (Kerri) Fluet, and James Fluet. She was a devoted grandmother to 19 grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to 10. Shirley is also survived by all 7 of her siblings, who shared in the joy of her generous spirit.

She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband Irvin Bohn, her beloved husband Alexander, her sister-in-laws Donna, Marg and brother in-law Jim.

 Shirley was known for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. Her warm presence and nurturing heart touched the lives of many, and she leaves behind a large and loving family who will carry her memory forward with pride.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Barrhead FCSS Food Bank in Shirley’s memory.

Shirley will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, care, and quiet strength will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
