The official obituary of

Jordan Wade Turko

December 13, 1991 — September 26, 2023

With loving remembrance and saddened hearts, the family of Jordan Turko announces his passing on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at the age of 31 years after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jordan had a zest for life with a magnetic personality and a sharp wit. He was a passionate entrepreneur who built Turko & Associates from the ground up. His legacy has unstoppable momentum eternally rippling outward to continue his vision in the thousands of lives he touched. Jordan was the definition of generosity and altruism, with the ability to spread kindness and share love and laughter. Jordan was always optimistic and never lost hope that he would someday find a way to be an old man. Jordan will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Jordan is survived by his mom, Tamara; sister, Krista (Ben); niece Ava, and nephew, Jackson; brother Kane; niece Aspen; nephew Ty; grandparents: Yvonne, Gene and Valerie and girlfriend, Italia; many relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his dad, Christopher in 2012, (who was no doubt waiting for him on the other side with a big hug) “There’s my Boy”, as well as grandparents, Fred, Mary, and John.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Edmonton Oilfield Technical Society, 2104-156 St., Edmonton, AB T6W 4S2.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation 11560 University Ave., Edmonton, AB T6G 9Z9 or www.albertacancer.ca , where Jordan was a member of the fundraising committee.
