Memorial Service

Service Overview

A memorial service brings family and friends together after cremation. It can be shaped around the person — their music, their photographs, the memories people want to share.

A service with the urn of your choice, to remember a life and gather the people who shared it.

Our Process of Care

1

Receiving your loved one into our care

We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whatever the hour, we arrange the transfer of your loved one into our care and complete the documentation that goes with it.

2

Meeting with your Funeral Director

We set an arrangement time that works best for your family, then guide you through each decision and contact the church, clergy, musicians, hall, caterer and cemetery on your behalf.

3

Planning the service

Eulogy, readings, music, a slideshow or photo tribute, memorabilia — we help you plan a service that is personal to your loved one.

4

The memorial gathering

We look after the service itself and the details around it, so your family can be with the people who have come to remember.

5

Registration and documentation

We register the death with Vital Statistics, obtain the death certificate and permits, notify the Canada Pension Plan and help you apply for the CPP Death Benefit and any Survivorship Benefit.

6

A year of daily grief support

Our support does not end after the funeral. Families can receive a grief support message from us each day for a year, and unsubscribe at any time.

We are here for you, 24/7

When you need us, we'll be there to guide you through every step with compassion and expertise.
