Service Overview
A traditional funeral gives family and friends a time and a place to gather, say goodbye, and celebrate a life that has been lived. We look after the visitation, the service and the procession, so your family can be present for them.
Our Process of Care
Receiving your loved one into our care
We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whatever the hour, we arrange the transfer of your loved one into our care and complete the documentation that goes with it.
Meeting with your Funeral Director
We set an arrangement time that works best for your family, then guide you through each decision and contact the church, clergy, musicians, hall, caterer and cemetery on your behalf.
Preparation and visitation
Your loved one is treated with respect throughout: bathed, dressed, their hair styled, and placed in the casket you have chosen for the visitation.
The funeral
Whether at our funeral home or your own place of worship, we look after the details of the day, from the service folders to the funeral coach and limousines.
Registration and documentation
We register the death with Vital Statistics, obtain the death certificate and permits, notify the Canada Pension Plan and help you apply for the CPP Death Benefit and any Survivorship Benefit.
A year of daily grief support
Our support does not end after the funeral. Families can receive a grief support message from us each day for a year, and unsubscribe at any time.
